FIRST:
Install Max Runtime on your machine.  This is just a little program that lets you run apps made with Max/MSP (kind of like Flash Player is to apps made in Flash).  If you're running the latest version of the Dadsampler or GhostEffects you're all set.  If not download it here:

Max 5.0.4 Runtime

SECOND:

Download and unzip the dadsirenbeta.zip file.  Put the GhostEffects app wherever you want.

dadsirenbeta.zip

THIRD:

Run an eighth inch to RCA cable from the headphone out on your laptop to the aux in on your mixer.

USING DAD SIREN:

Run an eighth inch to RCA cable from the headphone out on your laptop to the aux in on your mixer.  Hit the speaker icon to turn on dadsiren.  Check the colored boxes to turn on sounds and move the corresponding dial to change the sound's pitch.  Check the Delay box and set wet/dry to turn on delay effect.  Set time (or bpm) and gain and feedback amount to get a good level.

Click the buttons next to each box or dial to assign a midi control to it.  Midi notes toggle the boxes and CC numbers (sliders and knobs) control the dials.  Click the button and hit your midi note or slider to assign it.
